Very throwback looking...

I read the detailed articles...it is an interesting concept.

I think that a lighter helmet that provides better potection is something that's tough to ignore.

I do get the feeling they will "tweak" the look though.

I'm curious to see what other facemaks look like as well as color combinations.

Thinking in terms of how some teams colors are today, there might not be that much of a noticeable difference from further away with some teams (e.g. Steelers, Jags, Broncos...any team that matches face mask and helmet colors). Plus, with this design you might see more teams go with the same colors on both helmet and mask...especially those that have grey masks but different colored helmets...

I am interested to see what happens...
