So far I have two coaches who are willing to be part of this. I want and need more coaches. To all of the coaches that I have called by name, I expect you to respond. You don’t have to leave your homes and it won’t cost you a penny. As I have said before, you don’t have to shoot videos, for they can be time consuming and frustrating to work with.
Grab your cameras and start shooting.
Go to
www.divx.com and download the divx compression software, which is free. It is a trial, which last for 15 days. Having this software will give you the capability to see the play-by-play videos on my site. There is a free download button that you can click on. Furthermore, you must have high speed Internet, which isn’t free. After doing that, visit
www.electriccoach.com. From the site, you will have the option to go to YouTube and see some of my other work. That is my audition for you.
I know that many coaches are not viewing the videos on my site because I check the logs on my web server. The logs show that most of you are viewing my gallery.
I understand that some of you are not technologically savvy. You may feel that going to the message board and sending email is enough for you. I am here to tell you that technology is the tool that will help to get this hobby recognized.
Today, there is a new form of illiteracy. It is called computer illiteracy. Along with reading, writing, and speech, one’s ability to use a computer and all things that pertain to it, such as a camera is another way the world measures ones level of development.
This hobby combined with the use of technology will demonstrate that the electric football community is not a bunch of ragtag, simple-minded people.
