Default ALGEBRA and MF

I remember BOTH of my Algebra teachers saying "whatever you do to one side of the equation, you have to do to the other side" and that is necessary in MF as well.

I think there are many reasons some coaches are more proficient with the TTQB than others. Whether it be a 5-10yd dump to a RB out of the backfield (90% of the time!) or a 10yd or less pass to a WR along the sideline after he gets shoved back 10yds and releases - while the DB flies 20yds the wrong way!). These 2 scenarios make up those high completion averages.

Everybody has experimented with a 5yd cushion or a 10yd cushion, but you can still get picked apart by a short-range gunslinger when/if the WRs slip off.

How about we improve our pass rush? THAT would decrease those numbers wouldn't it? That's not the topic, so here's another suggestion - HYBRID PASSING.

Confession: I stole ideas from EVERYONE that has EVER played this game and I made my own way of passing! I don't seek fortune or fame and I willingly give it to the masses!!!!!!!!!!!! No patents pending! No copyrights! No claim to fame! IF you like it, USE it. IF you don't, you're an MFer. Miniature Footballer that is! This is a kids' show.
  • Offense set.
  • Defense set.
  • "Snap" the ball: quick on and off so that EVERYONE on the LOS engages one another.
  • DBs release their WRs, either inside or outside, based on the bump at the LOS. We allow the DB to spin all the way around so that his FOB is still at the point of contact and slide him to either side of the WR so that he essentially is running side-by-side with him.
  • Now the QB decides how long of a route his WR is going to run by placing a Ref down the sideline at a set yardage i.e. T.O. can get 15yds downfield before Romo gets sacked. This forces Romo to sit in the pocket or rollout until T.O. goes 15yds and not just until a defender gets close and turn it off.
  • If T.O. gets 15yds downfield and Romo didn't get sacked, the TTQB pass may be attempted.
  • Hopefully the DBs (CB and S) are in position to make Romo throw a precision pass i.e. Over/Under or Inside/Outside coverage.

LMK.
