Turn your board over and hit the motor with a 4 lb. hammer, you'll be good to go.
Those boards are notorious for not being flat, do you have any crowns in the field? The one I had was pretty bad, it took some work to flatten it out, the board will respond better to speed changes when it's flat. That was my experience.
The Miggle 620 was such a disappointment.
