Lightbulb Miggle 620 Board Idea For Better Performance

The responses I received for my last post suggested everything from a four pound hammer (at one point didn't sound like a bad idea), to screwing and/or using vinyl ties to attach the lip underneath the field to the frame, and using the same ties to hold the line cord for my even motor performance.

It hit me at work last night. Why are there tension rods underneath the board? The original didn't have or need the rods were the motors were more powerful and speed sensitive? What if I take the rods off, and use thin steel wire, or better yet, steel guitar strings underneath the board running them either from one end zone to the other, or across the field from sideline to sideline. Any type configuration that transfers the vibration evenly over the field. Any thoughts?

After I finish my 600 board and the stands/scoreboard I'm going to try it. I'll let you know if it's a success if one of you doesn't do it first.
