here are a couple of old, stock buckeyes that i painted a while ago. the white jersey shows a seperation of color where the mesh of a jersey would normally be. i simply blocked in grey in that area and dry brushed white over top. the dark jersey shows that the pants have had a wash of brown over the grey and a dry brush of white to achieve the depth and the proper color for the bucks pants. the saints are all custom, complete with washes and dry brushed highlites. this should show the dynamic difference between painting with this particular style on less detail vs. more detail. some cool results can be reached with stock figures, but my preference will always be details, details, details!
i would like to see some nice, up close shots of weirdwolfs muddy kansas city chiefs squad! from what i remember seeing briefly, they are all stock figures painted up amazingly!
