Default Probable Rules

There are three rules that I know will open the game up. The first rule could be front of base tackling. The defender must hit using any part of the front of his base. Any base touch stops the game more often. Furthermore, it robs the game of exciting plays.

Before I talk about the second rule, I want to make it clear that I am not talking about Anthony Burgess’ style play.

The second rule could be. Not adjusting the corners after the receiver is free opens the game as well. When a receiver gets open, there is no pivoting of the corner. After the pass is complete, the play resumes with the corner burned.

The third rule could be. Allow the quarterback to throw to a covered receiver.
