Default More Analysis

In regards to cons for this piece of equipment, I would say the TDQ’s stand could be slightly thicker. When the TDQ is mounted on a base, the thin stand doesn’t grip the base well. To compensate for that, Geno has provided double-sided tape on the figure’s stand. Overall, this isn’t a problem.

If the stand were made thicker, it would add weight. As I said before, the figure does not have to engage other figures on the board. Its primary mission is to throw the football. So, a little weight gain won’t hurt.

While I am here, I will add more analysis to this discussion.

Unlike the TTQB, the TDQ can be supported at the legs when throwing. I support the TDQ using the thumb and middle finger at the back of the base. My index finger is resting on the legs if the TDQ creating a more stable platform when throwing.

Using the TTQB, my index finger had to be rested on the front of the base. To use the legs of the TTQB as support would prevent it from flexing, which would prevent it from throwing.

On the TDQ, the tip of the throwing hand is thin enough to fit under your fingernail. This allows for a smoother throwing action. Speaking of fingers, it is possible to throw using any finger. Using the thumb is a bit awkward, but it can be done.
