Looks like you're doing what I'm doing - painting the ENTIRE BIG TEN - the BEST Conference in NCAA Football!!! So far I have ILLINOIS in dark fully detailed that I just used in our College Tourney last month. My NORTHWESTERN is a split squad - Offense in dark unis and Defense in white - and they are fully painted minus chinstraps, facemasks and extras. Next up will be IOWA - after I paint my BENGALS that I'll use in the upcoming GLEFL season - so they can double as the STEELERS, my new arch-nemesis in the GLEFL.
I use a mix of Haiti Repros and Buzzball figures and I'm trying to mix in som ff.coms as well, but I think I'll just use those on my NFL and ARENA teams.
To make things easier and expedite your task, maybe the spilt squad thing is the way to go.
