I also played in my first Dixie League yesterday. We had 23 coaches and our Commissioner, Beenutt, in the house. What a fun day. Playing four games game to back to back really was a challenge on the legs, feet and back.

I can not thank Beenutt, Joel and others who put such an effort into making the day great for the rest of us. The food was fantastic, the fellowship was incredible, and the games were very competitive.

I met so many great coaches that I can not mention them all, but one thing that I learned is that we are all brothers in this hobby. No matter where we came from, what our background is, our occupation, race, religion, whatever, we are one together.

Everyone had a great time and everyone showed true sportsmanship and class all day, in victory and in defeat.

The NC State Wolfpack finished the day 2-2 and I look forward to the Championships in July. Thank you for great games, Jeff Cameron, Benne Gibson, Joel Pritchard and David Nichols.
