Painting Figures
Mike,
I have been painting figures for at least the last ten years. My first atempts at painting was when I was twelve and I wish I had this forum to ask for advice back then. Unfortunately there weren't even computers back then. I used enamals for a long time but getting colors to match without mixing was always hard to find. I did like them better because usually was a one coat coverage and painting light colors over dark colors was easier. However I began using the acrylic craft paints last year for the availability of colors and a lot easier to clean brushes and a lot cheaper cost.
My advice would be find what best works for you and perfect your craft by trying different techniques and go with what satifies you the most.
