What I've learned from these guys in the forum:

1) Paint your flesh tones first. I've painted using a flesh tone primer first
and not using one at all. I don't see a difference, but I'm sure it helps
with your finishing coat adhering to the firgure.

2) Like I told you before patience. If you rush anything you do it doesn't
always come at as well as taking your time.

3) Lighter colors first then your dark colors. It's easier to touch up.

4) Good brushes and experiment with using them. I bought a set from wall
mart, about $7.00. The more you paint and familiarize yourself with the
brushes and how to manipulate them, you will be surprised what detail
you can accomplish.

5) Don't get disheartened. Even if you don't see you're getting better
you are!

6) HAVE FUN!!!

One last thing, I'm 47 soon to be 48, and I returned to MF this past XMAS.
I'm painting my second team, the Dolphins. They DO NOT and I mean DO
NOT look as good as my first try the Chiefs. My figures don't come close to
looking as clean and sweet as most of these guys. You probably have the edge on me. Don't sweat it!

As painting over your lines, keep a napkin or rag handy. If you make a mistake wipe off the excess or all the paint. If some of the pigment remains
let it dry, paint over it and start again.

Get em, Coach!
