Oh yes! I mounted the Haiti defensive back figure (tight end) on the base. It held its ground. I don’t use the Haiti defensive back figure on my defensive or offensive line. Yes, I also used it on the Buzzball cover corner. It performed well on that figure.
After my test, I have concluded that the base flourishes throughout a team when it is mounted on a Football Figures.com/net type of player. If you use Haiti Repro types of figures, it plays best at the corner back and receiver position.
