Default The Breakaway Runner Works

Tyler,

Sometimes, it is not the figure fault or the base fault but a combination of the two. That's why I call them athletes!

The problem is probably linked to not making the right cut at the torso, the placement of the base on the platform and the base being used.

For that particular runner, a good base to use would be an "Old School" TTQB bas. This base is consistent and has great speed. Jimbo is definitely right about the tweak of the base. That is much needed.

These players have such science to them that if you are playing in a 4.0 league/system, it is important to put weight *lead tape or putty) in the proper place. On this particular figure, it is important to note that he should run around left end and curve up for 80-100 yards. If the added weight in placed in the front of the base, he will tip over. That has to do with momentum. If the weight is placed on the right side of the base, it will arc too much which adds to his natural lean.

You have to place the weight on the left side of the base and towards the back portion of the middle section. Then he should be able to perform like great athletes. If that does not work, send him here and I will fix it for you.
