Since our games all start at the same time and use a running clock it works out perfect, everyone can see ether the small clock or the tv screen. We do not use time outs, instead at the end of each half there are 5 untimed plays, so for us this system works out well. Wireless cameras are $40.00 and up, the countdown clocks are on EBAY starting at about$15.00.
The real neat thing about the miniature camera is you can mount it on the inside rail of your game and broadcast it to a TV anywhere in the house. You can also use it in a hand held manner for some incredible close ups and realistic looking action. We have recorded whole games using this method and then replayed them later, it put the game in a world all it's own, much better than regular super 8 cameras, they cannot get nearly as good a shot up close as the miniatures do, the miniatures even have sound.
But we would still love to see a real looking scoreboard added to the hobby.
You can also download countdown scoreboards from the internet but you need a computer at your game site.

great stuff Larue........
as for timeclocks..... put me on the list for the ones not using the PC ... we rarely have a laptop or PC ready when we are playing games.
I like the use of time vs. plays......can have a bigger impact on game play.... makes for more coaching situations....
