I have been around this online era block of the hobby for about 11 or so years. I have seen the rush to the latest greatest, and have seen far too many rush to judgment scenarios. I have learned to keep it in context. That helps avoid confusion about who wants what and why they want it. The reasons vary from benign to crossing the border of absurd. Know which is which.

It seems someone or a few will always ask why certain stuff isn't allowed everywhere they may go. No one venue can accommodate everybody's wish lists. Additionally, it's kinda pointless to go around pushing up on those venues (any of them) because of what they do or do not allow. It's simple really, and nothing more than a matter of common courtesy. "Their house, their rules." Don't like it, don't play. Play or not, don't complain. What's so difficult about that? I can't think of a single member of this community that isn't smart enough to know and understand that.

If one wants to have all their wish lists fulfilled it is pretty easy to do. It's called solitaire. Good news is you can have everything you desire. Bad news is your win/loss record will NEVER breech .500

All kidding aside, solitaire is great and it is a HUGE part of this hobby. It has many great things to offer. But the day one decides to play w/just one other person (let alone a few hotel rooms full), one has to compromise.

Bottom Line: Why ask why? Show up w/your team ready for whatever venue, play, socialize, and have some fun...... Or Not.

Hey Mr. Moderator... Can an old time brutha get an emoticon w/a dude lounging in an easy chair eatin' a box of popcorn? I need it for all the trollin that goes on up in this jernt.
