Too much emphasis being put on weight, sure, some weights run better than others on certain fields, but that's it.

The 4.0 is primarily to include figures made by other manufacturers and not just limited to the Fab 5. Weight difference does come into play with advanced tweaking capabilities and advanced board, field. motor tweaking as well.

A) build a team that's within the weight limits allowed by the club or league you are going to join.

b) build a team(s) to a weight that you feel peroforms best on your field

c) build multiple teams at different weights to allow you to compete in two or more leagues/tourneys

d) Just build a team and enjoy MF

For those new to the hobby or returning then weight should not even be an issue right now.

I have seen well tweaked 3.2gm destroy a well tweaked 4.0gm athlete many times, as I am sure we all have.
