Doesn't the same company that made the first runs make the last runs.
I noticed michigan joe, norbert and jim davis prongs are as soft as can be when you touch them. Is that a result of first run bases, or the superiority in the tweekment of them. I noticed that the softer prongs are able to Rodney king there way down field at break neck speed.

if the company who supplied the bases is anything like the company that i work for, they probably change products all of the time to save some cash. i.e. where i work, we have changed resins twice and the mold making silicones 3 times in the past year.
i am sure that it was probably the supplier of the bases trying to save a few bucks, or it is possible that the plastic, or an additive used in the original runs, was discontinued. this sort of thing happens all of the time. they probably do not use the bases, therefore did not figure that it mattered whether they used this plastic or that plastic.
i think that it is great that miggle is being as thorough as they are with this.
