Ktla
Ajahaana,
Hold your fire. You didn’t look at my last post. I don’t know all that took place on that set. Moreover, I don’t know how tight of a relationship you may have with the people of KTLA. I was only asking a question. As far as getting in close, those cameras have the capability. Maybe the news crew didn’t set up their telephoto lens. The camera has accommodations for various types of lens.
In regards to being social, that was covered very well by the news crew. I know my approach can be a bit “standoffish”, but don’t take it like I am not down. If you ever met me in person, you will find that I am the most down cat around.
In my opinion, talking about electric football doesn’t do it justice. Actually seeing the hobby in action is what helps it. When the hobby is displayed, it should be displayed in a way that it will attract the viewer. When it’s displayed from a distance, it’s implied that what you are seeing is not really important. The viewer becomes disconnected. I have found that when you say the words electric football to people who are not in it, the immediate response is negative.
I could send an email to KTLA expressing my views. I could send them one of my DVDs as a follow up, but that would be disrespectful to the LAEFL; it would be unethical. I would be implying that the LAEFL ain’t doin’ right. Don’t take it wrong. I am not saying that. That’s why I keep my comments in house among those who are part of this hobby. With your permission, I can send something to KTLA.
