I have corners who do that as well..... but it says more about the WR than the CB...
Our league uses a "pass play timer" that runs the board for 3 seconds. THAT'S IT... your WR/TE/RB better be open or your play is dead.
On the backside of the play, I did not follow it to the end because I was watching the TD play.
