Default Protege', don't put that pressure...

on the NFC East!

You know, the funny thing about the NFC East is all of these guys are very good friends of mine. I hate playing any of them because of that. However, with last year's champion coming from the NFC South (yourself), Jim Davis (a welcomed addition and outstanding coach), Oscar Woodard (former champion who will make a run), and "Rookie" (playing lights out), I think the AFC South is the best division.

The most impressive coaches to me thus far have been:

Norbert Revels, Jim Davis, Barry Stephenson, and Ira Meachem. I think Ira should have strong consideration for Coach of the Year. This guy has played lights out!

This has been a great year for the league.

I think the most disappointing to this point may be:
Oscar Wooard, Pep Woods, and Ernest Claiborne.

These are all great coaches but have not gotten off the mat yet. I know it is still early in the season and they could make a run but you've got to think, the radio stations in those towns are having a field day!

I know the Steelers coach is in a state of depression because of his poor play but he's one of those coaches who can turn it around in a moment's notice. The same can be said for Pepper Woods. He's a great coach with a great attitude who still plays hard every play. It's just a matter of him getting on a hot streak.

But yes, the AFC South has 2 DFW Champions and another coach who is making a real push to win it all. Plus add in "Rookie" who has far surpassed expectations and I don't think it's really that close.
