Here are the passing ranges, and the number passing stick to use.
Anything behind the LOS to 5 yards in front of the LOS is a 3 yard stick, if the QB, or WR are being touched by a defender then it becomes a 5 yard stick, or if the QB is out of the pocket and is throughing across field then you would add 7 yards to the pass, example WR1 is between 6-20 yards away from the LOS, ( 5 yard stick ) but the QB was flushed out of the pocket to his right, WR 1 is to the left. The pass would be a 5 yard stick, plus 9 for throughing across field.
Rang------- Normal pass------ Touching ------- Across Field
A 0-5---------(3)-----------------(5)----------------(Add 7)
B 6-20--------(5)-----------------(7)-----------------(9)
C 21-30-------(7)-----------------(9)----------------(12)
D 31-40-------(9)-----------------(12)---------------(15)
E 41-50-------(12)----------------(15)---------------(18)
F 51-60-------(15)----------------(18)---------------(N/A)
G 61 Plus-----(18)----------------(N/A)--------------(N/A)
The range is the front of the WR base from the LOS, then follow the chart.
Now Pass Placement was not ment to be played in a one stop system, but many have taken it and tryed to fit it into there system.
Well that is how it is with the Pass Placement System. It along with the TTQB focuses on the type of pass the QB throws; the TTQB a bullet pass and PP leading the receiver. What is the best pass to use on that play?
