Newbie's 1st attempt at painting

One of the new kids on the block here. Been looking at all of the fantastic work you guys have been doing and I was inspired. So I took a shot at the home team - Texans in Battle Red. Figures are from Excalibur vibrating board game.
Be nice, again this was my 1st shot at it. I have new found repsect for the painters on this board. Decided to go old school minus decals. Ordered jersey numbers and will hopefully put them on next week.
So how did I do? All constructive criticism is welcomed.
