These things definately aren't for beginners or the feint of heart. I put 4 of them on the board and they didn't even move. So, I gave the prongs a gentle squeeze and they all came to life. I will say that the prongs were easier to squeeze then most of the Miggle bases I tried to tweak. I have a little arthritus in my hands and it hurts to squeeze too hard. I didn't have to get to that point with the F5 bases. Once I squeezed them a little, they ran pretty good. I'm not an expert at getting maximum strength out of bases, but the F5 went toe to toe with a couple of orange TTC's that I thought were pretty strong.
