thanks chachi!
A few years ago while playing MF at a guys house he had these figures that I really liked. He had them set up in the room where we played MF.alot like Bnut has in his recent post.I went out and bought all the stock steelers and saw some other cool poses.I did not want to put T. Owens up or other teams players so I began doing Steelers in 6 in and 12 in action figures from Mcfarlane.I then began to learn from some of the better guys out there and have been doing them for about 4 years now.My Steeler collection got so big,it is now displayed at a huge steeler pizza place in town for others to look at.As an offshoot I also do HS players at my school as gifts for them.I do baseball, basketball and football as you can see in the post.Nothing like the look a kid has when he gets his very own action figure of himself.I am in the process of starting a website specializing in HS customs for kids and steeler figs.I want to keep it fun and not make it work.It is relaxing to me.I use a mix of freehand and decals.I am also trying to up my game by shading the flex to add depth and detail.I am back full circle now by doing MF customs since they got me going in the first place. You can see why I like the reggie figs because they remind me of Mcfarlanes.Other figs are cool also.I am a rookie at doing MF figs compared to you guys.I think what you all do with these lil guys is great.I would love to base up one of my 6 in or 12 in figures. It was sad to see mcfarlane come out with those team sets.they should of left that to the MF people. They were poorly done and too cookie cutter for me.There is enough room for everyone--"do what you do" is what I say.I am glad you like them--STT
