Reggie, Kansas beat Memphis because Bill Self outcoached the Memphis coach and because Memphis could not make free throws under pressure. The 2 biggest plays in the game were when the big man for Memphis got his 5th foul 35 feet from the basket. What was he thinking (called lack of discilpline). The second one was when Calipari did not have someone, anyone foul Mario on the way down the court. They let him shoot a 3, OMG.
Very, very poor coaching on Calipari's part, excellent job by Self. We EARNED that National Championship and the sweetest part wasn't the championship game but the humiliation of Roy Boy the traitor in the Semi's. That was sweet. If Williams the traitor never wins another game it will be fine with me.
By the way, I am Geno's cousin. You don't know me, but I had to defend the honor of the Jayhawks.
