I would see what is the best option during the stoppage. The defense might give you something better than your original play. Look at it as a audible beyond the line of scrimage. This is YOU as the receiver and you want to make a play. Just remeber how you played with your friends growing up and you put a move on somebody because you saw something. This is the exact same thing. If you see something on the field you like, make a move.
