Points are awarded as follows.
20 points for a win + points scored0 points for a loss + points scored
At the end of the season, you will get an additional 10 points for every win any opponent you have beaten gets.
For example:
Coach A beats Coach B 21-7

Coach B gets 7 points
After July 4, 2010 the season will be over and points will be totaled. The MFCA coach with the highest points will be awarded as the regular season champion.

Yes to a degree. That is why this is posted to discuss the pros and cons. Other ideas for scoring? My ears are wide open.
But if you can beat somebody 60 to 7 within your rules set by the end of the 3rd quarter...why not? They can tap out at the end of the 3rd quarter to stop the pain. The NFL doesn't have any provisions for routs other than to switch the broadcast.
