Platforms are always the last thing and I ran out of the green I like. Plus, I was gonna get some pointers on the "grass-look".
Here is what i use for the simple project
a.Paint brush
b.modge podge
c.scenic cement in spray bottle
d.metal cookie sheet
e.fine grass. Whatever you desire. We all have our favorites on the grass we use.
1.Take a paint brush and put modge podge covering the whole platform including the edges.
2. Either dip your platform in the grass or just sprinkle the grass on the platform.Set that figure to the cookie sheet and grab another one.
3.Let dry for a few hours
4.Take the Liquid cement in a spray bottle over your sink and just gently spray the platform. Doing this over your kitchen sink will keep the extra liquid cement in one area and when you are done you just wash out your sink.
5.Set them on a cookie sheet or metal pan so that when they stick a little you won't have to worry about pulling them off of cardboard. Periodically, just pick them up and move them while they are drying because after you spray them they have a lot of extra glue that tends to run off under the platforms.Just let them dry overnight and you will wake up with a big smile on your face when you see them.
