The 2009 Hoosier Heartland Invitational has been officially cancelled for this year. I simply did not get a big enough committment from the miniature football community to put on this event that benefits the Boy Scouts of America here in North Central Indiana. I am looking to 2010 to bring back this important promotional tourney for the MFCA and my local Boy Scout troops. We had a committment from 5 troops to come, which was approximately 200 Scouts, but only 7 coaches came forward to help out and that simply is not enough for such a large group. I also needed 15-20 to committ to come to just break even for the venue at the Ramada, let alone show a profit for the Scouts. I am very disappointed, but I understand the economy and the travel expense....

Thanks to eveyone who showed an interest, hopefully I can get more volunteers for next year...
