Default Weights 101 .

Weights ? That is a good question and an even better subject .

In 99.9% of leagues around the country there is a limit to the amount of weight you can use . But when you take into account the limit rather it's 2.0 , 3.0 , 4.0 , then the base of the figure , then weight is not an issue because all the figures are weighted the same so this is like non weighted .The word weight is just that a word .

As in real football all the players are not weighted the same . Linemen don't weigh the same as WR for example . This being true then why weight all your figures the same ? Giving them a limit is just the same as playing non weighted .

In unlimited weighted game play , the style must be changed to balance out the amount of weight on the field or you will end up playing rugby . The stronger team will win without any coaching .

Weight on a base makes the base run more consistant , and perform 10 times better than an unweighted base . Now keep in mind that too much weight under the base will cause the player to run slower , while less weight will cause the player to run faster . You must find the right balance for what you want to do .

A lineman that is weighted too much may be strong , but will move slow and may not be able to get out of the way of the RB . This will hurt your running game .

I hope that this will help . If you have any other weighted question please feel free to contact me at www.mpflfootball.com
