Default More Information

Each team will have its complete own identity.

There will be a 140 gram weight distribution among 35 players. That means each player weight must average 4.0 grams.

The identity of teams come into play with some guys may weigh 5.0 grams or even 6.0 grams but that means other players may be 3.2, 3.0, etc.

For instance, if I want the Steel Curtain to be 5.0 grams across the front 7, that means somewhere else, I am gonna have to give up some weight. Each team must have 140 grams total or less. The problem comes in that if you have Mean Joe Green, who may be the dominate player at 5.5 grams get hurt and Ernie Holmes at 5.0 grams, your backups may be 3.2 or 2.2 grams, which could cause a big problem on the run defense or pass defense.

Some teams will have great backs such as Jim Brown at 5.5 grams but a sorry defense. Or backups light in the pants.

So many possibilities but all will be based on how I saw each team during those eras that those teams played in.

You can rest assured that great defenses like the Fearsome Foursome, Doomsday, the Steel Curtain, the Purple People Eaters will have dominating defensive units. However, because teams will be able to get hit with weeks and season edning injuries, it will be vital that these players don't play every down and they sub in and out.

You never know when an injury might strike.

Also, for some teams, the Andre Rule will be in effect. I want to see how some teams do with the Andre Rule while others will not have the rule. That will be interesting to see.
