Default The Best Players at Each Position

This league will have standards, based on what I think are the best players in history. With this being the case, these players will get the most weight added to them.

In this type of league, it will be really interesting because weight distribution is critical. With only 160 grams to be distributed among 40 players, the average player weight must be 4.0 grams. However, knowing that all players are not created equal, the greats will be given special attention.

While tweaking will take up a bulk of the training and performance, it will not be the most critical aspect of what I am trying to do. It will not be so important that every player runs 100 yards in 3 seconds. That's not that important because when I think in terms of great players, everyone is not equal. The same goes for great teams.

That's why some players are in the HOF and others are not. Yeah, in reality, all players can run from one end of the field to the other and all can tackle. But because it is difficult to make such an empirical separation, I do this by weight and sometimes the creation of dynamic custom figures.

So in the NFL Greatest Teams Solitaire League, the best of the best will use Jim Brown of the Cleveland Browns as the standard bearer. Here are the top players at every position in my league. These players will have what is called the "Golden Cleats".

Runningback - Jim Brown, Cleveland Browns (8.5 grams)
Wide Receiver - Jerry Rice, San Francisco 49ers (8.0 grams)
Quarterback - Johnny Unitas, Baltimore Colts (5.0 grams)
Offensive Linemen - TBD - 8.0 grams
Defensive Lineman - Reggie White, Philadelphia (8.0 grams)
Middle Linebacker - Mike Singletary, Chicago Bears (8.0 grams)
Outside Linebacker - Lawrence Taylor, NYG (8.0 grams)
Cornerback - Mike Haynes, LA Raiders (8.0 grams)
Safey - Ronnie Lott, SF 49ers (8.0 grams)
