![]() I'm not going to post anything about the pilot on this thread because there is already a thread out there for that. However, I just wanted to post a message about some guys that I had the pleasure of being around this weekend.
First and foremost... Marcelo Troilo - Many of you don't know him because he sits back in his cubby hole of an EFL world just enjoying the hobby with a group of guys without a care what the rest of us are doing. This guy is EFL crazy. He fun spirited and if you take the time to get to know him, he's a pretty class act. When I first met him, to be honest I judged him without ever even knowing him. I found out this weekend that I made a grave mistake. He opened up his home and what he has, you have. He reminds me so much of a man that I look up to in this hobby and that is Reginald Rutledge. They both are a bit stubborn, they both have great visions for this game, they both are 2 of the most hospitibal men you will ever get to meet and they both are great men. George Diamond - A "Diamond" in the ruff ". This man is Genius. I learned all the secrets to tweaking his bases. He shared knowledge with all then he let all of his bases and figures go for next to nothing so many may enjoy the "Diamond Experience". What a fantastic dude. I'm not saying this because he gave away stuff either. I'm saying this because he shared knowledge and he helped others. He assisted those that couldn't normally afford to buy his stuff and put smiles on many faces. He was EFL Santa this weekend. He also made me laugh the entire weekend. He shared stories with me about Corey "Foth" and Ed Scott that made me fall out. We even called Corey at one stage. It was to much fun to be around this dude. Shabby J - A class guy, with a class smile and a class personality to match. This guy is what the hobby is all about. You gotta meet Shabby J people. He'll humble you. The L.A. and Vegas gang - I can't write a thread metioning all these guys individually because I'd be here all day but Dave Campbell, Eric Robinson, Cleon Tate, Perry Burk, Mike Turner, Marty and the gang were truly AWESOME to be around. I had an experience to remember.

![]() When i first met you in the open run tourney i had the thought of man...what a gr8 guy. But this weekend drove it home for me. I have never met anyone as gr8 as you on the field who still stayed humble and didnt get that big " you cant beat me " attitude...but let me tell all of you that this guy is that....and more.
I hope to reach your level of play and skill one of these days as i again had the pleasure of watching you work your mojo on the field and just as the first time i was blown away by your approach to the game and how no matter what is goin on you never seem to get rattled. I again do not have you on my schedule, but that i guess is a good thing as you would quickly get bored with this rookie and lose interest after putting up 40 points on me ![]() ![]() Again it was gr8 to see you again, i know i come off as goofy sometimes but i do have nothing but the greatest of respect for you. Peace.. Rick G rookie coach Tennessee Titans

![]() Mike, all I can say is class! Man, not only are you a great coach but you bring a positive vibe with you as well. We run into a lot of characters in the hobby, some of which I prefer not to be around. But when you come out, and this holds true for George Diamond as well, positive things are added to everyone else's MF experience. Thanks!

![]() ........I am glad that you had a good time in L.A. bro. I told you that that group of guys down there are fun and energetic. The biggest thing they have is organization. That is what I miss the most about playing in L.A/. bro is guys come to play their games and if they miss a game-day they often tend to want to make up the game soon thereafter. I haven't met Shabby or George but Celo and DMC are guys that keep a league together. I wish I was there with you guys man because you don't really appreciate what you had until it is gone!!

![]() Ur, weren't you suppose to be playing this year?? When I see you at the game days then I'll believe it. When you and I are sitting across from Dolemite have some of his Hennesey then I'll believe it. When the room is on the ground laughing because you just cracked on "Dragon Breath", "Blue Velet", or "Naturally stinky" then I'll believe it. When I get what you've promised me for all these years, then I'll believe it.
![]() we still have a place at the table waiting for ya....... |
