you and me both. I use to link to photobucket until someone walked me thru the steps over the phone as I tried to post pics.
Thanks, Frank
If noone has walked you thru it , I can try. Just let me know.
You first have to resize your pics.

I use a free service called tinypic.com just sign up there, and when you sign in you can upload your pictures but it also gives you the option to resize them, which dramatically takes down the storage required.

It will also spit out the img link that you need.. just copy and paste it in the forum and you are done.

the attachement tool in the forum works wells, but needs pictures of a reasonable size.

When you take pictures with your camera, the result is HUGE files, not adapted for internet showing.

you have to use a tool (supplied with your camera, or you computer system, like paint, gimp, etc...) to reduce the size (in pixels) of your picture.

If you can't find a software like this, you'll find plenty on the internet

try to reduce your pics at least between 500 an 1000px width : so people with tiny screens and/or low bandwidht internet acces will be able to see your work

* This will take you to your files on your computer. Find the picture you want and just move the pointer over it, but don't click it yet.
* See if it fits the size specs listed for its filetype, which is listed just below all of the [Browse] buttons.
* If it's within size, then double-click it. To add another, repeat.
* If it's too large, you have to right-click the pic and open it in your photo editor program, or Paint, which is what I use for MF pics.
* If you open it in Paint: hit [Ctrl + W]; then when the size box opens, you have to size it down by a percentage of the whole i.e. 80% length x 80% width. Type in "80", then [Tab], then "80" and [Enter]; if you can see the entire picture on your screen without scrolling left or right, you're good; hit [Ctrl + S] to Save it and then you can close Paint. Now you can double-click that picture and repeat for more pics.
* Click on the [Upload] button to the right of the [Browse] buttons.
* Then you can hit [Submit Reply] and you'll see your post with a pic attached!
