Default Footballfigures.com Customizing DVD Commercial

It is finally here, the Footballfigures.com Customizing DVD Volume 1. Go to www.footballfigures.com and see where the video is at.

This DVD shows about 20 poses plus "cuts" from Biglock. He came to Texas for the DFW Super Bowl and he asked me to do some late night sessions for him. So I wanted to put some things from this on the DVD.

So much other stuff has went on which had caused delays. For those who had pre-ordered, we put a little something extra with your video.

We hope you find the DVD informative as I show you methods from making figures look like pictures to what I use as Randy Moss's hair. Painting tips and other things are also available.

Default wow- Raiders vs. Cowboys

Great looking video I look forward to the DVD. My customizing skills are getting better and I'm looking forward to seeing what you do so that I can improve.

I noticed another post on your board with some amazing pictures. I hope you don't mind, but I just thought others would want to see this scene of the Raiders and Cowboys if they haven't already. Great eye candy for any minature football enthusiast!

Default Got the DVD, vol 1

I got the video today and watched it tonight. Very well done and very inspiring! The figures look so awsome on video, even better then in the pictures. Showing all of those figures that you've customized is just so cool, especially when you had a lineup of unique QBs. I learned some new techniques and some nice all around tips, as well as reaffirmed some of my current techniques. I'm going to have to try the flame, as I've only used cutting so far. I would highly recommend this to anyone who wants to make customized players. Its so easy to customize these figures and they look so great when fully detailed that I'm seriously not going to have 2 players in the same pose again.

Here is my little tip for guys who like the FF figures:
For that center helmet rib I wanted to mention that I don't cut it off. Instead I brush on a few layers of clearcoat (before decals) in order to "grow" and "round" the helmet slightly to the point that the rib is not significantly raised. Then I decal the helmet stripe and add more clearcoat. I am very pleased with this look. I do like the look of cutting off the ridges on the jersies of the upper arm. Then apply double/triple paint coating in this area to get smooth look. Double/triple brushed on clear coat on this area further adds a nice smooth bicep. Lastly, I trim off the molded plastic facemask to make the look af a nose and jaw and it creates more spacing between the facemask and the figure's face. (see picture for results of these techniques)

Default Just in

I just received the DVD, and WOW! Reg makes it look easy, but when you try it yourself; man how many men am I gonna reconfigure now. The DVD is perfect, and clear with the processes for putting your own spin on things. As Sean would say GOOD JOB Reg! Volume two should be just as good if not better...I just don't know how! WOW!
