Default Adhesives for field covers

I purchased a field cover in the late 90s and the board has been in storgae for a while. The adhesive is not holding and part of the field cover is bubbling up in one end zone. Any experience or suggestions on adhesives to correct the problem?

It sounds like you have a Mark Thompson cover. I recommend putting it outside in the heat on a hot day. Let the sun beat on it for a few hours and the adhesive should loosen up. Then you take a small wallpaper roller and roll it back tight. I did this in the past and it seemed to work when I had those types of covers. That was before the magnetic covers. Give that a try.
