Default Board sizes? Help?

Guys, I am just getting into all this again and I need help with board numbers and sizes.
I personally have a board from 1978 (?) and the Tudor box says 635 on it. Is that the board number? Just need some help making sence of it all.
I guess what I am saying is that I need a history lesson on the boards and what everyone feels are the best.
Thanks everyone.

Hi Chris,

Greetings to you my friend. I am 99.9% sure that 635 is the board number. As for which board is the best that is a matter of preference. Most coaches play on the 620 board. Others prefer the slightly larger scale size board. Hope this helps.

Hi,

If you are just getting back into the hobby then check out our website www.mpflfootball.com

There are many new and exciting ways of playing miniature football. I can tell you now that the size of your playing field has everything to do with your EF experience. A scale-sized gameboard measures 60"x27" within the field of play. Boards that come from the traditional lot are too small and hinder the football simulation.

Check the links below and write back.
