I Have A Dilemma With A Newbie

Hello everyone. I hope that all of you are doing well.

I have a dilemma and need your suggestions with a newbie regarding Miniature Football. A few weeks ago I attended a 60th birthday party and wore my MFCA T-Shirt. My 8 year old Godson who loves football asked what was the MFCA. I told him that one day I would show him miniature football. Well you may have guessed that the newbie is my 8 year old Godson. Well the two of us got together today and had a scrimmage. Here is the problem. His favorite team is the %#*&!@$%*!**$# New England Patriots. I lined up my BALTIMORE COLTS and being a good Godfather I let him win 10-7. I think he is slowly getting hooked on Miniature Football and it also gave me an opportunity to teach him about football. Here is my dilemma. The next time we play being his GODFATHER should I:
A) Line up my Patriot figures in the driveway and drive over them in front of him.
B) Take no prisoners and beat him 300-0 leaving him emotionally scarred from cheering for the Patriots.
C) Make him an offer he can't refuse and have him choose another team.
D) Just be a good guy and let him win.

Have a good day guys and I think my Godson could be the generation of Miniature Football Coaches.

Well....as a Fin's fan, I must say that Patriots should be crushed under your wheels....

My suggestion is to get him some old school Patriots....they are a lot less menacing in those old colors.....back when they weren't a dynasty and the Fins were. Being beaten by the old school dudes won't feel too bad.

John, the answer is really quite simple. You will be able to do 3 things at once. 1) Extract revenge 2) Teach him more about football and most importantly 3) Teach your godson a valuable life lesson. This is what you do:

Play your godson using the same 2 teams with the same bases. Only this time, use the strategy divider. Don't hold back, just mow him over being sure to point out what you are doing every step of the way. After you clobber him 52 - 0, simply say that this is what happens when the Patriots can't steal the signals from the other team!

I Detailed A Saints Team And Tweaked Some Bases For My Grandson To Play Against My Eagles Team. I Keep It Pretty Close And Try To Teach Some Basic Formations And Plays To Him, By The Way He Is Seven. He Played In Peewee Tackle Football This Year. They Went Three And Three. There Is Nothing Better For Me Than To See His Face Light Up When Reggie Bush Breaks Through My Defense And Finds The End Zone. Let Him Win!

I have the same dillema. Both my nephews play football (7th and 9th grade) but when they play MF, all they want to do is score touchdowns on every play. I know they have the football knowledge but they see MF as more of a game. What do you do! I want to keep them interested but they can play THAT STUPID VIDEO GAME and win every time.

I've been letting these guys win for years! I love to hear them talk trash and brag about what a great team they have. It makes me feel good to see these minature adults put so much of there egos and talents into these little imaginary plastic figures. Let the little guys win for a while and just when they think they know everything you clobber them. In your case wait until the little dude turns 15-16 he should be manture enough to handle it.
