Question Tudor #600 Board

Just received a Tudor #600 board. In good shape, but had to replace bushings on clamps holding the field. I first used felt pads. Not good,
dampened vibration. Then used wooden dowls to hold field tight. Works
great. Another problem though the motor is a little loose. I don't know whether I should drill and screw motor tight, there isn't a lot of bracket? Or should I take thin wire and wrap it around the mounts underneath the
plastic washers until motor is tight? The loose motor is a bit noisy and
speed control could be better. Any other ideas welcome.

The 620 board I asked about earlier, I kept adjusting the rods until the
vibration was even and playable. For me that motor is underpowered and
the construction leaves something to be desired. Somethime, hopefully, in the near future, I either buy or build my own "Big Board".
