I can't help it, but I think it should be Texas, Florida, Oklahoma. The fact that Oklahoma is ranked higher than a team that beat them by 10 points is completely senseless and those kids on Texas are getting screwed over, bad. Tx Tech beat Tx on a last second play but got killed by Ok, so throw them out. That leaves Tx and Ok. Texas beat em. Where is the confusion here? I've never really had much of a problem with the BCS until last year when a 2 loss team played for the Nat'l Championship, but this is worse. There will never be a playoff, apparently. Why can't they just go with common sense, if Tx beat Ok and they both had 1 loss, Tx is higher. If Tx had 2 losses, the Ok could be ranked higher. I can't get over the fact a team loses to another, but still is ranked higher. I said a long, long time ago, it doesn't matter who you lose to, it's when. USC lost to Cal a few years back, ran the table and played in the champ game. They had all season to move up. But, if a team loses their last game, they drop, out of it. Ohio State and Mich ranked 1 and 2 a couple years ago. They play the last game of the season. One has to lose, they are done. The smart thing to do is schedule your tough games early and patsies late so you still have a chance if you lose. The only perfect system is a playoff, but forget about it.

NCAA Division IIA has a playoff system...so that only means one thing...

CAN WE PLEASE HAVE A 16 TEAM PLAYOFF SYSTEM...I WANT IT AND I WANT IT NOW!

To me that is the only way to really have a true champion!

I don't think any team would want to play EITHER Florida or Oklahoma right now........including Texas. Oklahoma would hang 50 on the Longhorns this weekend if they played a second game. I was hoping that Missouri would get passed over for the Big 12 Championship, and the Longhorns would get a rematch (you know they say "be careful what you wish for"?). Florida will test the Sooners better than any team has in the last 2 months for sure. TCU, Cincinnati, Texas Tech, Oklahoma State, and Missouri (all ranked in the top 20) couldn't hang with them. I just wish they wouldn't have a month-long layoff before the game with the Gators.
And ANOTHER thing: Penn State would have a better gripe than any of the other 1-loss teams, they lost on a last-second kick, on the road. Texas only led the TexasTech game late in the 4th quarter after trailing the whole game long. When Harrell passed to Crabtree to win that game, Tech ACTUALLY re-took the lead after being behind for the first time in the game. The Longhorns weren't better than Texas Tech like everyone would have you believe. Mack Brown is a poor loser, and his history of voting in the coaches poll speaks for itself.

Heck!? They could be sitting pretty with about 5 Titles since the first one in 2000. Good luck to both squads..
To me, on the playoff picture, it should be one your dead on on that one OU Fan, and for the teams that don't make it, NIT bound Bowl games. Still keep the other bowl games for Team Morals goin, but set aside the big boy's trying to holla we're # 1 and set that bracket up to fight to the Top... I betcha a cinderella story would unfold out of 3 to 4 of those matches too...
