Default French Guy raises bar!

I have to say,it has been hard for me to think about doing custom figures and look at F.G's work.It is just me,but it seems until I learn to do it even remotely close to his way,I will feel like my stuff is sub par.He is in a whole new league.I just hope others are patient and try to push themselves to new levels. He has even shared how to and he is always there for advice.I am happy with my painting skillz, but those add ons he does are unreal.FG is great for the customizing part of this Hobby.Just wanted to give FG some props .Now I gotta go get some putty and some anatomy books-lol STT

THank you, but there is other great modellers here on MFCA forum, ad thousands of guys making beautiful miniature non football related football things too (model railroad, militaria, cars, fantasy figures, etc etc...)

3 things I try to keep in mind:

always try to progress and learn

practice, practice and practice more

there is or (will be ) always someone better than you

Regarding that "mantras", you WILL progress AND keep the good spirit...Because we're just adults seriously playing with toys, after all

Without question, an Artist! In the tradition of the great painters thru history, I am awe-struck by the way he has enhanced the detailing experience.

cheers!

I do not think we have seen all that he has to offer yet..... If you have ever seen some of his art which is just incredible to say the least....
