Default Playing on New Championship Board after a long layoff

It has been awhile.......but I received my new Championship Board game today so I had to check it out with a league game.........Hogleg Bills vs Hogleg Chiefs.........Chiefs win 17-10 and the board ran great!!!!!...its a KEEPER.........The Bills scored first on a 30 yard field goal...then the Chiefs marched right down the field and Bobby "Tank" Holmes broke off tackle for 35 yards in the 2nd quarter. OJ and the Bills turned right around and took the lead again on a 98 yard kickoff return. A key 3rd down pass from Lenny Dawson to Otis Taylor late in the 2nd quarter led to a Chiefs Field Goal to tie the score at 10-10 at the half. The second half belonged to Holmes and the Chiefs as Holmes finished a long time consuming drive with a 2 yard TD run to seal the victory for KC..............My new Championship board looks as if it was used maybe once or twice by the previous owner before going into long storage.......but now that I have it i am sure I will be playing alot of great games on it in the future......here are some action shots of tonights game....... the next game will feature Hogleg Colts vs Hogleg Lions.

isnt that just the absolute best looking board tudor ever made. i really love mine, i got it from a friend a few years back, and its my main board. i got very aggravated one summer day as i was running a few plays outside in the shop, and i dripped 2 small drops of sweat on the board.

i quickly wiped them up, went in for the day. next day, an exact rust spot in the shape of the 2 drops of sweat. so i quickly cleaned area, and applied some testors green to the area. allthough it corrected the problem and stopped the rusting, i now have almost a dime size dark spot of green...lol.

the hogs and the 655, best tudor had to offer. great pics buddy.

Nice pics! Love the old teams on that board Charles.

The 2 championship boards I have are probably the smoothest boards in my collection as well as the best looking ones. The are in emaculate shape as well. I don't play on them much because I'm afraid I'll scratch them or something. But like yours, they are beautiful!!

Default Cool

Cool...Very refeshing to see some pictures of the Tudor teams and fields that got many of us inot the game as teens..Now every one, myself included, have custom boards and teams and seem ot have forgotten our roots.

Great photos.

Thanks,

Coach Francis

I got to give you a round of applause. For me, viewing your game threads is like going back and watching my favorite league, the AFL! Football was so rich and full flavored back then and seeing your style of play with the old teams that got us all started is so enjoyable and gives me a lot of joy!

Please keep making these posts!!

With all the custom boards and figures we sometimes forget how beautiful the original game was .
