The Perfect Team Gets Prepared to play the Perfect Quarterback
This is a game that will take me back to 1970, when I was so young in the game. All I knew was the name of Johnny Unitas. He was my hero. I had me some black top high cleats just like the great one. Then in 1972, I saw this team out of Miami with a coach named Shula become the only undefeated team in NFL history.
At that time, I never thought that Shula coached Baltimore in 1970 and then Miami in 1972. All I knew was when Earl Morrall started for the Colts in Super Bowl V (?), I was not happy. I never thought Unitas could get old, better yet, be benched in favor of Morrall because of injuries.
So now, I've got a chance to turn back the hand of time. I get that chance to play Shula vs. Shula. This will be a great game. I may even play this one outside. The weather is really nice down here in Texas. I could do something like this on a Saturday or Sunday and take my TV outside to watch football while I play.
I am in the process of creating the Baltimore Colts team and the Dolphins defense. It should take me two days to get the job done. But getting Unitas under center (Bill Curry) will be worth the effort.
I will see how the 3-headed monster of Csonka, Morris, and Kiick will make life hard for the Colts. I want to bring two prizes in to this game.
1. What will be the yards that Johnny Unitas throw for? Name the exact yardage and win 2 bags of figures and a decal sheet from FF.Net.
2. How many yards will Larry Csonka, Mercury Morris, and Jim Kiick rush for?
Win 2 bags of figures and the FF.Net Runningbacks Customizing DVD, which features some of the great runners such as Jim Browm, Eric Dickerson, Earl Campbell, Walter Payton and more.
