Default DFW - The Bengal Press

Live from the Bengal Press the DFWEFL Bengals coached by Michael Robertson makes his 2nd stop in Cincinnati to restore what has been missing for the past 6 seasons. The Bengals have not made the playoffs since Robertson's Super Bowl victory as head coach of the Bengals in 2001. He now returns to Cincinnati in efforts to restore prominence not only to the Bengal franchise but to his legendary name as well. Coach Robertson, after what has been the most impressive run of championships in league history has struggled with finding his identity over the past 2 seasons. Coach Robertson has promised to deliver what he says will be his most impressive showing ever! A bit of news...Coach Robertson and the Bengals still have yet to open up training camp in 2007. Stay tuned for more updates from the DFWEFL Bengals camp.

Default Can we get a picture of the Bengals?

I got a peek at those Bengals and they were looking sweet! Hopefully you can post a picture of your team so everyone can see them. Do the DFW Bengals have a "D" or are they like their NFL counterparts? I suspect the D will be ready to go.

Default Good to see the Protege' Is Trying to Get Back on Top

Coach Robertson,

It's great to see you get that new contract to go back to Cincinnati. I know when we discussed your first leave many years ago from Cincinnati, you took a mediocre team and turned it into the most feared team (outside of the Cowboys) in the DFW Miniature Football League.

I see they had to pay you A LOT to head back to the AFC and take over that struggling franchise. I am sure you will do a great job restoring the roar of the Bengal Tiger. You've got great coaches to contend with in the AFC such as Don Hudson and his Boston Patriots, Oscar Woodard's Titans, Robert "RJ" Jackson's Chargers and now RD and his Raiders. However, I never bet against you to do great things so good luck coach in getting that big fat contract.

Exciting things will happen in Cincinnati. I looked on the schedule and it's a shame that we will not meet this year until the Super Bowl but Best of Wishes!

Good to hear from you Coach Robertson, I'm sure you'll do a great job in Cincinatti. The league and the media are getting excited knowing that your getting closer and closer to opening your season. Thanks for the tips you have given me along the way.

Default Many Thanks

Thanks Coach Rutledge & Coach RD,

The contract was nice! Cincinnati is a great city and I enjoyed my short stay there the 1st go round. Its a class organization who believes in doing whats best for the franchise regardless of the cost. When I left the city the 1st time it was of no fault of the franchise. I had felt that we had accomplished everything that we had set out to do and I thought a change of venue was necessary. I see now that it was meant for me to be here. We look forward to many great things this season. Thank you all for your support!

Coach Robertson
