![]() Hi There,
Greetings to you my friend. My name is John but I am better known on the chatboard as Coach J. You are new so let me say welcome to the hobby and the MFF chatboard. You have come to a good place to get your MF questions answered. You have asked quite a number of questions. I will not be able to answer all of them but will do my best answer the questions that I know. There are a few places where you can get your figures from. The traditional place would be through Miggle. They used to sell figures for the pro teams but no longer do so because of licensing. All is not lost because some people buy unpainted teams and either the team they themselves or have someone else the team or teams for them. The Miggle 67 Big Men are slightly taller than the regular size figure. As for the bases some work better on certain figures. It also depends on what you want the base to do on a particular figure. For example if you are looking to have a Haiti repro tackle figure loop either to the left or right then you might want to use the Orange TTC Base. I can't answer the remaining questions for you because I am not a painter or one who decals. Hopefully what I have said is helpful. By the way I noticed that you live in Pasadena, California. I am in northern California just south of San Francisco. There are a few coaches in southern California who you should hook up with. I will contact some of them and ask that they contact you. Have a good day, feel free to ask any additional questions, and again welcome to the hobby and the MFF chatboard. John aka Coach J |

![]() Do not go cheap on the brushes if you are going to paint. From personal and professional experience - they make all the difference. You can find decent deals on good brushes at places like Michaels. Buy them individually - not in packs. Be sure to buy some Masters Brush Cleaner. Clean all your brushes with this at the end of each painting session. Cleans, protects and conditions your paint brushes.
Decals - patience, patience and more patience. Get a system done and a working process. Take regular breaks to let your eyes and hands relax and recover - as well as your neck and back. Get a good magnifier with light built in or magnifier glasses. Good chair and work surface with plenty of good lighting. Nice music or favorite TV show's going in the background is always nice - at least for me. |

![]() as far as figures you can find many on ebay, from painted teams to inexpensive unpainted teams. just search ebay "electric football", or "electric football figures", something to that effect. As far as paints wal-mart sells inexpensive paints"apple barrell" which are pretty good they usually cost less than $1, and of course michaels sells most anything you need. Best of luck to you.

![]() Man, I love your enthusiasm! It's not that we don't want to answer....it's just that we have answered these same questions so many times over the years. While you wait for answers try using the search function at the top of the forum. Type in "67 Bigmen" for instance and check out the results. One thing the hobby sorely lacks is a FAQ for the new coaches. We have started that project within the MFCA but it will be a bit before it is ready.
Here is my answer for one ofyour questions. where do you get most of your figures and stuff ? FIGURES www.miggle.com www.footballfigures.com www.4buzzball.com Electric Gridiron-contact DeWayne Jennings from this forum. BASES www.miggle.com Try some Pro lines www.4buzzball.com Try some clear bases for speed Contact Kansas Bill on the forum for Tornado Alley F-5's There's a start. Hopefully I didn't miss anyone. Check ebay under electric football for a variety of items.
