Best Cheer
I've heard two "classic" cheers in my day:
1) I am from Oconomowoc, WI. Our big rival was "Watertown." At football and basketball games we would sing: I'm a raindrop I'm a raindrop I'm a raindrop falling down But I'd rather Be a raindrop Than a DRIP from Watertown 2) My wife went to St. Olaf college. Their football team stunk, but the academics was pretty darn good (and their Christmas concerts). As they'd get pummeled, they'd cheer: That's alright That's ok You'll all work For us someday Any others??? |

If you want the best cheers go to a Wisconsin Badgers game. I'd post them on here but i would look like one of the most foul mouthed people around.

cheers...
Badgers....Badgers...we don't need no stinking....
Ok..no wait....Don't forget the Buckeyes. there are a myriad of verses I could sing about ol' Meat-Chicken. The "That's allright, That's Ok, You all will work for us some day" was originally attributed to Northwestern by the way. My favorite was at a Miami of Ohio basketball game I was at. the visitors (Akron U.) cheerleaders were out there and the student section chanted "One, Two, Three, Four....get the cattle off the floor" |

my favorite cheer of all time....
"we the willing
are lead by the unknowing are doing the impossible for the ungrateful; we have done so much with so little for so long, we are now qualified to do anything - with nothing!" K-Lo |
