Clear Coat?
Mike,
The rules state "Coaches may use any original Miggle factory-painted stamped team. Custom-painted teams are not allowed. No additional paint, glue or other substance may be added to the figure. " Just to be clear, you can not clear coat your players after the decals have been applied? |

That is correct!
You can put names, numbers, chinstraps and facemasks on, and that's it. Since we're checking them in, I will be able to tell if there is anything else applied. Mike |

My understanding...
...is that one coat of clear coat is allowed. Has that changed?

Please read
3.1 FIGURES: (C) Coaches may use any original Miggle factory-painted stamped team. Custom-painted teams are not allowed. No additional paint, glue or other substance may be added to the figure. (D) Number, name, and insignia water slide decals may be applied to each figure's helmet, jersey, and sleeves in the proper place; so, too, may Miggle’s numbers, chin straps, and face masks be applied to the figures and be used in tournament play. Clear coat is a substance, so you may NOT use clear coat. Which also means no gloves, wristbands, tape, etc..may be painted on. Sorry Dave, please verify. |
