It's funny that you mention that because I am a stickler for authenticity and I had so much trouble finding a light grey that matched the color that the Panthers use for their light grey pants.

I found the perfect match in Model Masters Flat Gull Grey #4763

I used the Model Master Laquer Overcoat (Lusterless - Flat) for the White Panthers and ran out. For the Black Panthers, I used a can of Valspar Interior/Exterior Clear Flat (Home Depot).

I found out the hard way that the Valspar brand must be used by applying several layers of light coats. Too heavy of a coat caused some of the decals to curl and I had to refinish 5-6 of the figurs for various decals. It works perfect if you use 5-6 rounds of light coats...just don't put it on too heavy.

Whereas...the Model Master version did fine with heavier applications.
