are there any painters out there..I mean guys who paint only no decals,,,doing it the hard way...Brian

of course. everything that i do is 100% hand painted, no decals.

Only decals I use are helmet logos, which seems fine to me, since they are decals in real life.

The time it would take me to decal the stripes is way more than what it takes me to paint them. And when hit stripes just right, like on Georgia's pants or Auburn's helmets, it's way more satisfying than using decals for them.

The only decals on my Rams are the names of the players , some of us are not as talented as 5-13 ............................... yet !
